PUBLICATION DATE: August, December 2003
CONTENTS: Untitled story taking scenes from previous issues of RV&OI Comics, as well as one new scene and a scene originally presented on the RV&OI Saturday Morning Cartoon Show but never published. In between the scenes are text entries taken from The Pusm Paper, Pusm Online, and other online sites. In essence, a "clipshow" story, serving as an introduction to RV and OI.
NOTES: Published in the "mini-comic" format (the same as issue #0), measuring approximately 2.75 inches by 4.25 inches. This comic is being distributed by RV and OI themselves, as they are leaving them behind at various venues during their travels.
Four different cover versions exist, to date: The "first" edition was released with a bright pink cover and a gold cover. These two variants contained a unique serial number stamped on the inside front cover (if you look very carefully at the image to the left of the fuscha cover, you can see the indention of the stamp, right behind the fumes coming from the coffeemaker). People who received this comic were encouraged to register their comic at this website, in an attempt to track the distribution of the comics. An advertisement for Prepare for Sudden Stop was featured on the inside back cover. The "second" and "third" editions were issued with an orange cover. These editions replaced the serial number with the album advertisement, and featured a listing of web site links on the inside back cover. The difference between the two versions is that the "second" edition lists Creeps HQ (which went offline shortly after the issue was released) while the "third" edition lists Pusm News Blog.
There are two different variations regarding page 3 of this issue: "Version 1" features two panels taken from the RV&OI Saturday Morning Cartoon Show episode #183, "Lunchbox" (which, as of this issue, has yet to be adapted in RV&OI Comics). "Version 2" features two panels taken from RV&OI Comics issue #1. "Version 1" is the more common one, having appeared (so far) in all comics bearing either an orange or a gold cover. "Version 2" has only appeared in comics with a fuscha cover, making it the rarer version. However, current publishing plans call for the next edition to probably be this version.
